There is positive news for the UK construction industry, with CITB’s latest Construction Workforce Outlook showing growth is expected to return over the medium term.
The report sets out expected construction demand across the UK between 2026 and 2030. CITB forecasts the UK construction workforce will reach around 2.68 million by 2030, with an average of 41,200 extra workers needed each year to meet demand.
